Best Practices Certification: promoting quality of life for the elderly

The Santa Casa da Misericórdia do Porto launched this year the first edition of the AGEING Summit (Summit on Ageing demographics). The event brought together European leaders, specialists and policymakers from different areas related to the ageing demographic process, notably in the areas of health, economics, finance, social and innovation.

This summit aimed to enhance the debate and to explore the evolution of ageing in Portugal and Europe through the discussion of the best strategies for adapting products and services to this growing population.

NORTEXCEL was distinguished with the Best Practices Certificate by pointing out solutions that link technological evolution to the well-being and health care of the elderly.
