NORTEXCEL at Praça da Saúde

NORTEXCEL was present at Praça da Saúde organized by the University of Porto, through Porto4Ageing.

The kick-off was given by U.Porto Vice-Rector for Research, Innovation and Internationalization, Pedro Rodrigues, who emphasized the importance of openness to the outside and to the community. In addition to exercise classes, show cooking and lectures, there was time for the presentation of the European Institute of Innovation and Technology in Health (EIT Health) by Nuno Viegas. Created by the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT) and funded by the H2020, this body brings together 140 European, university, industry and community partners to support new ideas and talents and develop solutions that promote active aging and healthy living.
